Maine-Anjou Beef Australia members have been actively showing their best cattle this spring!
Our junior member Jared Mackelmann of Blue Drop Maine-Anjou won Junior Champion Female Maine-Anjou, 4th in the All Breeds heifer class 15 to 18 months at Euroa Show with Wattle Glen Maisy. At Numurkah Show Jared also won Novice Exhibitor and 4th in Junior Handlers, congratulations!
Bendigo Agricultural Show saw a great line up of Maine-Anjou cattle from Wahroonga West, Maine Park and Anjouliette. A junior all breeds cattle show was held on the Friday where Maine Park exhibited their young stock walking away with second for both their heifer and bull.
Natasha of Wahroonga West made the trek all the way from South Australia to compete at the show. Wahroonga West was rewarded for their efforts taking out the Champion Maine-Anjou Bull with a 6 month old, Wahroonga West Maine Anjou Royal Conrad.
Anjouliette won the Champion Maine-Anjou Cow with the four year old Maine Park Junia with 7 week old heifer calf Anjouliette Nell at Bendigo Agricultural Show.
Bendigo Agricultural Show hosted a meeting for Maine-Anjou Beef Australia members to get together and enjoy eating some Maine-Anjou beef!
